Polish Group About Circular Economy

Interview of Maja Ciesielska from Poland after the Training Course "Circular and Save" in Berlin

Can you give us your opinion about the training course "Circular & Save"?

I really liked the training course, it was a great experience. I think I’ve learned things about the topic in an interesting way. The venue was also nice, and the food was very good. One thing I would add is more team building throughout the project such as secret friend, envelopes etc. Regardless of that, the group was very nice and we still made some great connections.

Why is promoting the circular economy so necessary and why we must move towards it?

Having circular businesses and living sustainably is important to save our planet and preserve its resources. Nowadays a lot of big companies are responsible for the pollution and they are the game changers if it comes to saving our planet. Educating future entrepreneurs about creating circular businesses is crucial for changing the future companies’ habits. Without a doubt, our planet is in a critical position and if we don’t take any action to save it, it will get worse quickly.

What is the most important thing you have learned during the training? How do you plan to share and use your knowledge?

The most important thing I’ve learned is the importance of circular businesses. I’ve learned examples of such companies and how to create a circular company myself. During the dissemination session I’ve also felt the importance of raising social awareness and educating others. In the future I will enter the labour market and I will either create my own business or I will work in one. Being aware of environmental issues I will make sure I’m doing my best to keep this business circular.
