LEADERS for FUTURE
Summer Internship Program LEADERS for FUTURE takes place once a year in summer (from July 1 to August 31). The minimum duration of the program is two months. The application period is approximately 9 months.
Program sequence
The goal of the program is to create a network of ambitious people. Therefore, during the joint activities and living together on the Copernicus Berlin Campus (CBC), program participants can learn more from other cultures, share their expertise and improve their communication skills.
Scholarship
Program participants can also apply for full scholarship, or partial scholarship.
On the application form you have the possibility to choose accordingly.
The full scholarship covers the administrative costs, costs for counseling and mentoring, liability insurance, events, and housing. In addition monthly pocket money will be paid.
With the partial scholarship, the costs of administration, counseling and mentoring, liability insurance, and events are covered. Monthly pocket money is also paid. The scholarship holders of the partial scholarship cover the costs for accommodation at the Copernicus Berlin Campus (CBC) completely themselves.
Accommodation
Program participants will be accommodated in the comfortable and furnished apartments of the Copernicus Berlin Campus (CBC). The apartments are centrally located and consist of single and double rooms. High-speed internet and cable television are also available. In addition, there is a laundry service on campus.
CBC is located in the center of Berlin. Nearby are the sights of Berlin: Alexanderplatz, Berlin Cathedral, Museum Island, East Side Gallery, Warschauer Straße, Oberbaumbrücke and more. Numerous parks and sports facilities make life on campus pleasant and healthy. In the surrounding area you can also find large shopping malls, supermarkets, organic food stores, bakeries, pharmacies, hospitals, gyms, tennis courts, swimming pools and much more. You can also walk to the famous clubs and pubs like KitKatClub, Berghain, Watergate, Matrix and others.
Copernicus Berlin Campus is also well connected by public transportation. There are several buses, subways and suburban trains nearby. So you can reach any place in Berlin in very short time.
Placement
An exciting program experience begins with diligence and open-mindedness. Whether on your own or through our placement, you can find a suitable internship. Program coordinators will provide advice and assistance throughout the internship search and application process.
Informative exchanges between program coordinators and program participants will provide participants with better guidance. Participants will also receive training on how to create an appropriate CV, how to collect complete application documents, and how to prepare for an interview.
Internship Program
Summer Internship Program LEADERS for FUTURE combines summer fun with professional development.
In 2023, the program will run from July 01 to August 31.
There is also the option to participate in the program for up to 6 months. If you wish to participate in the program for more than 2 months, there will be a fee (980 EUR) for each additional month, regardless of the type of scholarship awarded. On the application form you have the possibility to indicate if you want to stay additional months.
During the internship, program participants will gain valuable work experience in Berlin. Since Berlin is the largest city in Europe, there will be a development opportunity for all career fields.
After the successful application process, several helpful advice and information will be provided.
Requirements
1.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
2.
Applicants from all countries are welcome.
3.
All occupations are welcome.
4.
Good knowledge of English or German (at least B1).
5.
Be motivated, independent and responsible.
Application documents
For the successful application is required a complete chronological curriculum vitae. It should be written chronologically and in German or English.
Application procedure
Application procedure consists of three stages:
1) ONLINE APPLICATION VIA THE APPLICATION FORM
Application period: 1. Oktober - December 20, 2022
2) TASK SHARING VIA YOUTUBE
The selected candidates are assigned a specific task via Youtube.
3) INTERVIEW PHASE
After completing the tasks, selected candidates will be invited for a personal interview.
