Interview of Luana Sposaro after the Training Course.
Can you give us your opinion about the project “Post-truth“? What is the most important thing you have learned during the training?
The “post-truth” project was a training project in every way, an experience to be done at least once in a lifetime. In addition to socializing with Guys of different nationalities; ages and cultures, the project helped us to know and deepen important topics on fake news and the world of social media. In addition, taking part in this project, gave us the opportunity to visit Berlin, a city full of culture.
In your opinion, how can young people deal with propaganda, misinformation and fake news? Do you have your own tips?
As we saw during the training, many important figures (such as President Trump, Salvini and many others) exploit fake news to make propaganda and creating general misinformation. I think that now we, young people, have many ways and so many means to deny fake news: check the sources of origin, the publishing site and make sure that the photos used are true. The important thing is always to check, not believe everything they say.
How do you plan to share and use your knowledge in your local community?
The knowledge acquired in this training will certainly be useful for my school path. Surely after this training I will try to check the news sources that I will see online, on TV and in the newspapers. I will recommend friends and family to try the Erasmus+ experience and share with them all the interesting things learned during that days in Berlin.
